I'm Britney — founder of A Guided Journey, somatic practitioner, birth worker, and women's advocate rooted in rural Mississippi.
I've worked bedside as a CNA. I've organized communities from the ground up. I was part of LA's first cohort of Community Health Workers, trained in a model that puts the person — not the system — at the center.
I burned out. I was getting evicted. My life was in shambles — and I realized the work has to be internal before all else. I found inner work, integration work, somatics. Now I offer those same tools to other women of the movement and motherhood.
